ABOUT US

 

Patricia and Glenn started running the King William in June 2016. Patricia has years of experience in the pub trade, starting off as a barmaid at 18. She then moved on to become one of Yorkshires youngest ever licensees, taking over as the stewardess of Market Weighton Social Club at the tender age of 22.

We have a belief that pubs are all about the community and that is what we are trying to bring back to the King William. If you enjoy live acts, karaoke, pool, darts and bingo to name a few then the King Williams' doors are open and you will receive a warm welcome.

We have all Live Sports showing on a Large Screen and access to free wifi.

​

We are a dog friendly pub and also welcome ramblers into our warm and cosy surroundings.

We have a passion for Real Ales and are in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and are awaiting accreditation by Casque Mark.
